Expendable Items[]

Expendable items are found as you adventure, but are not permanent weapons. All these items have a set number of uses and cannot be taken outside of the current stage you are on. All ranged items can be aimed up and  down by holding down the melee strike button and moving the analog stick up and down.

The Arbalest is a rare drop from crates and the Sorceress' Create Food Skill. It is a slow fire, dex based, medium-heavy damage weapon. It is affected by the Maintenance Skill.
Ballista 5 The Ballista is a set item on certain stages. It is a very heavy, very slow rate of fire weapon which aim can be controlled by pressing up or down + attack before firing. It is very cumbersome to move, but very handy during the Red Dragon fight.  Ballista's, unlike all other listed Expendable items, cannot be taken from screen to screen.

Bombs are heavy damage single use items. The dwarf can produce bombs using the Bomb Satchel Skill item. They are used to break down walls, and bodies alike. They are a favored item of goblins. They can be thrown, and are not affected by the Maintenance skill. If thrown upwards, the bomb won't explode unless it collides with something

The Cranquin is a modified crossbow with fast firing speed and spread shot. It is a semi-rare drop from crates and the Sorceress' Create Food Skill. It sprays 3 bolts in a wide arc, and is a light damage, dex based weapon, also capable of inflicting poison status. It is affected by the Maintenance skill.

Crossbows are a very common drop in Dragon's Crown. They fire as quickly as controller input is accepted. They are light damage, dex based weapons favored by skeletons and goblins. This item is affected by the Maintenance skill.
Dagger 10

The Dagger is the favored stealth weapon of the Elf.  The Elf can use Holdout Dagger to produce daggers in the field, and is a semi-rare drop from chests. The Elf's Backstab ability is dependent upon this skill. Daggers are short range, medium damage, strength based weapons and do more damage on stronger enemies. They are affected by the Maintenance Common Skill.  It may be thrown.

The Fire thrower is a rare drop from crates and the Sorceress' Create Food Skill. It is a medium rate of fire, medium damage medium ranged weapon, and is somewhat bulky to use. This item is affected by the Maintenance skill.
Key -- Keys aren't weapons, and are used only in a few situations. They are set items, in set locations. Once used in their keyholes, they are of no more use.
Lamp 3 Lamps are used to summon the Genie. It may be used to grant the fabled three wishes before it is of no use. Wishes come in the form of thunderstorms and windstorms affecting 2/3rds of the screen.
Statue Arm 5 The statue arm is a piece of a large statue. This is affected by the Maintenance Skill.
Statue Head 1 The statue head is a piece of a large statue. It is a very small ranged, light damage, strength based weapon. This is affected by the Maintenance Skill.
Statue Leg 5 The statue leg is a piece of a large statue. It is a small ranged, medium damage, strength based weapon. It is affected by the Maintenance Skill.
Torch 10

Torches can often be found on walls and need to be hit in order to utilize them. They are short range, light damage, strength based weapons that can dispel ghosts without the need to swing the torch, and they are used to light cannons. They are affected by the Maintenance Common Skill.

Trivia[]

  • The only way to "renew" the usage of these items, is to have an enemy thief picking them up, and then knocking him out.
