This quest is available once you complete the stage Wallace's Underground Labyrinth for the first time.
Description[]
The flesh of the giant walking fungi, myconids, is a legendary delicacy among gourmands. However, myconids are also legendarily toxic. The lethal poison that they produce means that only a small portion of their bodies can be rendered safe for consumption.
To balance the rampant demand for myconid flesh with safety concerns, a group of scholars would like to research how to cull these creatures in a manner that would provide the largest yield. They request that someone gather myconid spores from Wallace's Underground Labyrinth.

Strategy[]
In path A of Wallace's Underground Labyrinth, interact with all mushroom that you find, be it by defeating enemy Myconids or moving background mushrooms with an attack. They both have a chance of dropping spores, which are small white round things. You may have to do the level more than once if you are unable to get all ten spores in one go. You can also complete this quest in the Labyrinth of Chaos if you haven't done so by the time you are able to select it.
