This quest is available once you defeat the Ancient Dragon on Normal difficulty and turn in any quest, or finish the Hermit quest chain in the Lost Woods for the second time.
Description[]
Killer fish are doing much damage to the fishing industry. These finned fiends swarm once every few years, consuming all the fish (and sometimes humans) that they can find.
The damned things are out in especially high numbers this year, and the fisherman brave enough to attempt to deal with them are getting slaughtered.
I need you to go out and exterminate these killer fish from the local waterways.

Strategy[]
Go to either the flooded room in the third screen (first of path A) of the Old Capital path A or to Lost Woods path A, in the fifth screen (fourth of path A) where you ride a small boat into a river with vortexes. Killer Fish appear in both these locations. They are killed with a single attack, but the hard part is aiming at them as they come jumping. You shouldn't have any problem completing this quest in either location, but you'll have to do either stage more than once to meet the quota.
