This quest is available once you complete the quest Unnatural Life. Within the game menu, this quest is preceded by Family Matters.
Description[]
The female pirate Anne Bonnie is a venerable legend amongst men of the sea for having defeated a kraken with only a dagger. One man insults those who believe the legend, saying it's an obvious fabrication. Another is spellbound by the tales and insists that they are undeniably true. Still another drunkenly boasts that slaying a kraken with a dagger is easy, and that he knows others who could do it.
And so he has come to the guild, requesting that someone pose as his friend and defeat a kraken. He won't restrict you to only using a dagger, but he does ask that you go about this task alone.

Strategy[]
You must do this quest alone without the help of other players or NPCs. At Dragon's Haven Inn, change your party join settings to "Join Off". Alternatively, switch off NPC join settings in Game Options 2 and remain offline.
The kraken itself is somewhat easy. The hard part of the battle is dealing with the Lizardmen and specially Boss Lizardmen. Be sure to equip weapons and accessories that do damage to natural foes and lightning elemental damage. The first phase consists of defeating the tentacles, which aren't too difficult as long as you keep alert to their occasional attacks. Once these are destroyed, you can damage the kraken, but Lizardmen and/or Boss Lizardmen will appear from behind and they are the real danger in this battle. It's best to deal with them as quickly as possible before attacking the kraken, in particular Boss Lizardmen. You can ignore the regular Lizardmen. The kraken has three attacks: a cloud of poison, a cloud of ink and a wave of water. They aren't too difficult to evade, so you won't really have much problem dealing with them. After a while its tentacles will grow back, so destroy them again and repeat the process. You won't have much problems with these quest as long as you have the right equipment and level. Both magic users, the Wizard and the Sorceress, will probably have an easier time doing this quest than the other characters due to their spells. The Elf can also have an easy time as long as she manages well her arrows against the Lizardmen. Due to the high resistance of the Boss Lizardmen, the other three may have to be a little more careful, particularly the Amazon with her low defense,
