|Stage:||Bilbaron Subterranean Fortress - A Path|
|Theme Song:||Fighting Off the Fierce Attacks|
The Minotaur is a half-human, half-bull monster armed with a huge axe found in Path A of Bilbaron Subterranean Fortress.
The Minotaur's attacks consist of an axe swing, an axe slam that sends a shockwave out in a line, a jump stomp, and a charge. It's made more difficult with the appearances of several orcs.
Its attacks are very easy to telegraph and defend against due to their startup animations that give them away. Simply avoid or block its attacks and counter. Staying behind it keeps you safe from all of its attacks except the jump stomp. A Fighter will have an especially easy time with this fight as he needs only stand toe-to-toe with the Minotaur and block its attacks and keep attacking.
In Infernal and Ultimate modes, the minotaur will sometimes leap offscreen, then sends its axe flying at you a few times before dropping back to the ground.
- The Minotaur's remains, specifically his tongue, can be used as cooking ingredients when in camp.
- The Minotaur is similar to the boss of the same name from The King of Dragons.
- The Minotaur's death animation is a homage to Death Adder's death animation in the first Golden Axe game.
- The Minotaur's vocals in the English version are done by Patrick Seitz, who also voices the Fighter.
